When you are running a Holiday Hamper program, for families of all sizes it is so nice to have a partner as wonderful as Toys-R-Us.

The corporate office has always stood behind us with discounts on our bulk purchases of Gift Cards for the kids in our program, this allows us to receive a “Bigger Bang for our Buck”.  The percentage reduction of the price of the cards allows us to buy more cards, for more children.

Over the past several years, the team at Toys-R-Us CrossIron Mills have been allies in our program that depends so heavily on fund raising activities.  Tom & Chris, are team members that we enjoy sitting down with every September to come up with new and innovative ideas for fundraising. 

This amazing group of store associates have been able to secure some of the most sought after toys of the year for our raffles so that selling tickets is that much easier.  The Raffle will once again be on this year, and we are just waiting to find out what the “Trending Toy” of the year is, so that we can secure one and begin selling tickets.  We are happy to have our Toy Box at the exit of the store so that people can purchase a game or toy and place it in box, for distribution with our Airdrie 1^st Hampers in December. We are also hoping that the Toys R Us mascot, Geoffrey the Giraffe, will join us at a few of our events this year.

As you wander through the CrossIron Mills Toys-R-Us Store you can see the care and attention that this team puts into all the displays that they create.  This same approach is how they interact with the members of our club, so with their help, we at Airdrie 1^st are able to bring joy to many more families in Airdrie and the surrounding area.
